EU IDDSI Congress 2025

The International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) is delighted to announce that the EU IDDSI Reference Groups & IDDSI Global will be hosting our 1st European Union IDDSI Congress in Florence, Italy on Friday, February 28, 2025. A pre-congress masterclass will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

The theme of the congress is:  From Theory to Practice.  The congress program will feature practice and research presentations from all over Europe and provide many interactive and networking opportunities:

• Showcase of IDDSI implementation in the European regions
• Keynote on the application of IDDSI in dysphagia management by EU leaders & affiliate organisations
• Scientific presentations by IDDSI Board of Directors, Dr. Carlo Pedrolli, Dr. Julie Cichero
• Welcome address and international update by IDDSI Chairperson & CEO, Peter Lam
• Panel discussion on current & emerging practices to support individuals with difficulty in eating and drinking
• Dedicated networking program to encourage participants to interact with presenters and exhibitors
• A pre-congress masterclass piloting the new IDDSI credentialing program
