Sir Julian Priestley Memorial Lecture 2025

This year's lecture will be given by Jonathan Freedland, Guardian columnist, writer and broadcaster, with the title Trump changes everything: how the US president makes a new UK approach to Europe essential.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday 7 May at 17.30 (doors open at 17h) in the Flora Anderson Hall at Somerville College, Woodstock Rd, Oxford OX2 6HD and will be chaired by the College Principal Baroness Jan Royall, who will host drinks afterwards. The lecture will also be streamed online.
