United in Diversity: Is the EU's vision of inclusion more needed than ever in today's political climate?

The EU was founded on the principle of bringing diverse voices together, to find common solutions to shared problems. In the era of Reform UK, Viktor Orbán and others, it’s clear that these values must be actively defended.

In this webinar, hosted by EMUK’s Diversity Committee, we’ll explore how our movement can better reflect the diversity of the population of the UK, and hear a range of perspectives on how these issues are playing out today.

Our guest speakers will share how, notwithstanding their experiences of heritage, physical and neurological differences, the EU’s vision of and commitment to inclusion resonates with them and their lives.

Speaking are:

• Chair - Barbara Callender, Chair of EMUK's Diversity Committee
• Marsha de Cordova, MP for Battersea and Vice President of European Movement UK
• Aké Achi, Black Europeans
• Leo Capella, EMUK Diversity Committee
• Dace Lazdina, EMUK Diversity Committee
