Edinburgh EuroWalk - Day For Rejoin 2024
Need help?
We invite you to join Edinburgh 4 Europe on our Edinburgh Centre free #EuroWalk. This walk is part of a series of events happening across the UK, all on the same day as part of #DayForRejoin2024.
We would love you to join in with us on this approximately 90 minute walk through Edinburgh City Centre where we will follow a route that includes many landmarks that give an insight into the depth and breadth of Edinburgh's strong European ties.
Our meeting point is 10.30am at the Wojtek statue in Princes Street Gardens (Wojtek the Soldier Bear Memorial - Google Maps) and our walk will come to an end at the Scottish Parliament. Some of the route is level, such as at the start along Princes' Street, however some of it does include steps, cobbles and several hills so may not be accessible for all.
If you feel you can't join the walk, we do hope you can enjoy the many photographs, links and other EuroWalk routes on our website EuroWalks – Discover Scotland's Links With Europe
Edinburgh4Europe is affiliated to the European Movement in Scotland (EMiS). EMiS is Scotland's oldest pro-EU campaign group. We are a cross party and no party membership group that share the view that Scotland's future is best served at the centre of the EU. Indeed in the 2016 EU referendum, 2017 UK general election, 2019 EU Parliament election and the UK 2019 general election, the voters of Edinburgh overwhelmingly showed that they think so too.
