Ede2 celebrates its 15th Anniversary with an original dance production “The Little Dancer: A Reimagining of Le Petit Prince” written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The out-of-this-world production will follow the story of a pilot marooned in the desert when they meet the mysterious stranger who traveled to Earth from a far away asteroid in search of the meaning of connection and friendship. This family-friendly show features an eccentric cast of characters who populate various planets, such as space royalty, a talking rose and a friendly fox, who all teach The Little Dancer unique lessons on becoming a good person and how to care for others. For ede2’s celebratory anniversary season, the production will feature original music composed by Chicago Recording Academy Governor Tim Corpus and a lineup of professional choreographers such as GREYSCALE Artistic Director Jessica Kondrath and Jus.Be House Collective’s co-founder Jordan Ordonez. “The Little Dancer” will travel to local libraries, community centers and retirement communities for free performances in February/March 2026 before hitting the main stage at Studio5 on April 25 & 26.
