What we will do on the day:

* Introduction to the year of the wood dragon & to the concept of dragons in shamanism
We will begin by sharing about the archetype of the dragon in mythology and shamanism and explore the ideas behind the Chinese year of the Wood Dragon 

*  Meeting your Dragon teacher
You will  meet your shamanic Dragon ally and teacher that will help you throughout 2024. 
You will get to know your helper and have an opportunity to ask for guidance and power for the new year.  

* Creatively envision your 2024
Through shamanic journeying, journalling and creation of a simple vision board you will have space to become clear on your intentions and visions for the year. 

* A very special Fire Ritual harnessing the power of dragon energy for transformation
Each participant will receive an individual special Fire ritual to help you bring power to your intentions of 2024.

Practicalities:
PLEASE NOTE: 
This workshop requires a basic practical knowledge of shamanic journeying , such as we offer in our Intro to Core Shamanism Day on 10th of February or another introductory workshop to shamanism. 

If you are new to shamanic practice, you are welcome to come to our Intro day to Shamanism on Saturday and then attend the Dragon day the next day on Sunday. Special price applies if you book on both days and/or come with a friend.

We will work in Eva’s cosy, beautiful & private cabin. GROUP OF SIX PARTICIPANTS ONLY. 

Cost:
£122 for the Dragon Day
If you attend both the Intro to Core Shamanism and the Dragon day and book for both: £222
Bring a friend: if you book with a friend you pay £200 / £100 each for the day
Bring a friend: if you book both the Intro to Core Shamanism and the Dragon day you pay £400/  £200 each for both days

Cost includes teas & snacks.
Please bring some food for our shared lunch, we will provide some soup and salad.

Please note:
Shamanic journeying can be healing and illuminating, but it is not therapy.
If you are in an acute mental health crisis, have a history of schizophrenia, extreme dissociation or untreated PTSD,
the journey work of this intro day is not suitable.

About us:

For this workshop, Claire and Eva combine their knowledge and different backgrounds, creating a unique, creative, 
down to earth and fun approach to teaching shamanism. Both have worked with Dragon shamanically for some time and cherish what Dragon energy can bring to life. 
Between them, they bring a huge amount of life experience to their teachings and their deep connection inspires and uplifts.

About Eva:

Eva is a queer author, writing coach, sex coach and shamanic practitioner.
Her lifelong interest in embodiment, creativity and the power of the erotic has led her to train as an art therapist, breathwork practitioner, firewalk instructor and eventually as a sexological bodyworker.

Her path with shamanism began 1999 when she trained in Core Shamanism with the Scandinavian Centre for Shamanic Studies and later in shamanic healing, soul retrieval and shamanic counselling.
This practical spiritual path has supported Eva through many challenging life experiences and in her creative practice.

Eva has been weaving creative, embodied, shamanic and erotic approaches into powerful offerings, be it through her performance art practice, ‘Writing from the Body’ programme, ‘Wild Write’ groups, Back to Sex coaching or Snake Medicine and Rites of Passage Retreats.

Eva has been a passionate facilitator of workshop and retreats for over thirty years, both in the UK and internationally.
She has worked many years as a shamanic counsellor and offered shamanic creativity retreats. She brings her unique style of warmth, depth, humour, knowledge and compassion to all of her work, guiding people on deep, empowering journeys and through crucial life transformations.

She lives at Phoenix Nest, her beautiful home in Saltdean, from which she runs one to one immersions and bespoke rites-of passage retreats.

About Claire: 

Claire is a passionate business coach and entrepreneur, and a mother of three grown children.
With her experience as a business leader in both France and abroad, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and complexities of the business world. Alongside her professional and family responsibilities, Claire has always nurtured a profound spiritual journey. She has explored various practices and traditions, seeking to integrate spiritual teachings into her daily life.

As a co-facilitator of the Introduction to Shamanism workshop, Claire brings her unique vision by combining practical and pragmatic approaches with an openness to the spiritual dimension. She guides participants through a journey of discovery and integration, with humour, kindness, and boldness.

Claire is currently enrolled in the Advanced Core Shamanic 3-year programme from the Foundation for Shamanic Studies (FSS), further deepening her understanding and practice of shamanism.

What is important to her is to teach tools to help participants find a balance between the material realities and the invisible dimensions of life and to be able to use them independently.
