Breathe and be in-spired!

Experience the power of breathwork to ignite and nourish your creative self and write from an embodied, alive place
.

Breath gives life and it is one constant in our life.
As long as we live, we breathe, from the first, to the last breath.

Breath is pure life force energy and the more we breathe, the more life force energy we take in.

This journey is for you if you want to:

* write from a more alive and embodied place;

* experience a dynamic breathwork process and how it can support your writing;

* dissolve or release blocks or stuckness in your writing or in your emotional life;

* energise your writing and access inspiration in a different way.

Conscious breathing has been used for centuries by people from many different cultures for healing, wellbeing, transformation and to alter consciousness, for instance breath plays important role in Yoga and Tantra.
It is a powerful way to to increase energy and clarity, release tension and emotions and give power to our intentions.

As a writer I often receive creative inspiration through breathwork.

Inspiration literally means the act of inhaling and my experience has been that through conscious breathing we can access creativity and inspiration easeful and without any pressure.

This workshop weaves together breathwork and free-writing in a potent mix.

If you want to ignite your writing and nourish your creative self, join us!

What we will do:

We will begin with a simple warm up exercise and an intro round, to hear each other’s intention for the evening.

I will then introduce an easy to learn breathing techniques, the conscious connected breath, after which we will go into the breathwork journey.

This breathwork experience is a dynamic breathing process and meditation that creates energy in the body through breath, movement, and voice.
In this breathwork process we breathe into the different energy centres of the body (called ‘chakras’ in Sanskrit).
This is a beautiful way to clear stagnant energy, release what no longer serves us and access aliveness, creativity and inspiration.

The actual breathwork journey will last approx 30 min, after which you will have time to turn to the page and let the experience inspire free-writing/ stream of consciouness writing.

There will be space for some one to one shares in breakout rooms and a closing round.

I particularly appreciated the safe space that was created for this exploration.’ Chris‘The breathwork was very powerful, coupled with the music and your guidance, and knowing that we're all doing it together in one way or another- that's very potent. There's a level of connectedness there that rises above words, very powerful. Thank you!‘
