The snake is a powerful symbol of transformation and snake medicine speaks volumes about our primal ability to heal, renew and restore. From these master teachers, we can learn how to shed old layers, outworn beliefs, patterns, trauma and ways of being:
“Shed what does no longer serve you and receive the goodness that is aching to find you…”

During the retreat, we’ll connect with the magic of snake medicine through many forms including movement, breathwork & shamanic journeying. Plus temple and Samhain-inspired practises. There is also time to rest and restore energy – with the sea close by, sauna and sacred fire. There’s delicious food and brews throughout for deep nourishment.

Each person will receive a tailored ritual, envisioned and inspired by an inner journey and supported by the energy field of the group. It can comprise of powerful tools such as a fire massage, needle ritual, affirming touch, etc. As we are a small group, we can hone in on what’s needed for each one, as we usher in transformation at this potent time.

The teachings of the snake priestess temples of ancient Greece is the backbone of this deep work.

What can you expect from our retreat?

The retreat will give you time, space and offerings which support you restore your energy and transform what no longer serves you, so you can leave renewed and refreshed.
‘Enter the Mystery’ is a deeply personal journey, yet the group will support each journey deeply.

Also expect a smorgasbord of delights, laughter, plus local walks in the gentle hills and maybe even an invigorating sea swim!

Retreat Essentials

This is a fully residential retreat held at Eva’s vibrant welcoming home, Phoenix Nest. There’s a dedicated temple space in an arty / luxurious / cosy cabin at the bottom of the garden. Located in Saltdean, a coastal village near Brighton, UK.

Pricing
The cost is £777. This covers all teachings, accommodation, plus delicious vegetarian home-cooked food, drinks (alcohol-free space), plus snacks.  Payment plans are available. Please do ask. Deposit of £111 reserves your place.

A full three night/ four day immersion into snake medicine:
Arrive Friday 28th of October afternoon at 3pm
Depart Monday 31st of October at 3pm

Cosy, inviting spaces to stay; either in private bedrooms in the house or the temple cabin (sleeps two).

Eva Weaver

Eva is a published author, coach & bodyworker. Her lifelong interest in embodiment, creativity and the power of the erotic has led her to train as an art therapist, breathwork practitioner, Firewalk instructor and eventually as a sexological bodyworker.
Now, she is weaving the creative, embodied and erotic into powerful offerings, be it through Writing from the Body, Wild Write groups, Back to Sex coaching, or Snake Medicine Retreats.

She is also in training with her beautiful Royal Python Syd, her snake companion of four years and her late snake Myst, who still teaches from the beyond. Eva has been fascinated by snakes all of her life, especially exploring what the snake priestesses of ancient Greece can teach us now. She loves to breathe new life into this tradition whilst honouring this lineage.

Eva has been running workshop and retreats for thirty years, both in the UK and internationally. She brings her unique style of warmth, depth, humour, knowledge and compassion to all of her work, leading people on deep, empowering journeys.

Bayari Lou Beegan

Bayari is a sensual alchemist and loves to weave the ancient with the new. Her background is multi-disciplined, from Tantra to Angelic. She is a seasoned space holder in Tantra, having supported teachers for years. She also formerly offered 1-2-1 Tantric bodywork sessions called Awakening your Essence. Alongside this she became a much-loved retreat cook, conjuring nourishing delights. She brings this and her flair for potions to all that she offers. Bayari is also a Master in Angelic Reiki who runs healing circles and private sessions. This brings a divine holding and connection to the benevolent realms. She has a passion for Oracle cards, too, so this cosmic combination will flavour the retreat as we Enter the Mystery.

Bayari and Eva are life-long friends and colleagues. They met on a workshop delving into the Great Mysteries and continue on this path, hand-in-hand.
