There is something powerful about putting your hands in the soil and watching something grow.
This three-day camp gives children ages 5–10 the chance to do exactly that. Each morning on the farm is filled with hands-on learning, Bible time, animal chores, creative projects, and plenty of outdoor play. By the end of the week, every camper goes home with a flower pot they built, mixed, planted, and painted themselves.
WHAT CAMPERS WILL DO:
Session Planting
Each day begins with morning farm chores - collecting eggs, feeding the animals, and watering. From there, every day has its own focus:
- Day 1 – Building a Strong Foundation - Campers explore the science of soil, mix their own custom potting soil, and fill their flower pots. Creek exploration and free play round out the morning.
- Day 2 – Growing Together - A worm hunt teaches why earthworms matter for healthy soil. Campers add worms to their pots and spend time painting their pots and a small toy boat they built on Day 1.
- Day 3 – Watching Things Grow - Campers choose a flower or plant, plant it in the pot they prepared, water it from the stream, and cover the soil with natural wool mulch. The morning ends with boat races and one last creek adventure.

Family Picnic Lunch (12:00 PM)
When camp wraps up each day, families are welcome to stay for a picnic lunch under the pavilion. Pack a lunch for yourself and your child and plan to slow down. This is a great chance to meet other camp families and enjoy the farm together. Lunch is optional, but everyone is welcome.
