Silent Book Club at the Farm

Event Overview:
Bring the book you’re currently reading and join us for a relaxed evening of quiet reading, book swapping, good company, and community vibes. Settle into a quiet reading area, chat with fellow book lovers, leave a mini-review or favorite quote, browse the book swap, or enjoy the farm experience and outdoor games. This is a low-pressure evening with no assigned book and no required discussion.

Tickets:

• Early Bird: $8 | August 24 – August 31
• Advance: $10 | September 1 – September 20
• Day-of: $15 | September 21

What to Expect:

• Bring whatever you’re reading: novels, comics, poetry, essays, and more
• Quiet communal reading inspired by Silent Book Club
• Open/free-for-all book swap
• Sticky-note station for sharing mini-reviews and favorite quotes

Book Swap:
Bring books you’re ready to pass along and browse the selection brought by other attendees. The swap will be open and free-for-all, allowing guests to share extra books and take home new reads as they like.

Collaborating Businesses & Community Partners

Silent Book Club Orlando
Part of the global Silent Book Club movement, this chapter brings the low-pressure, BYOBook reading concept to Orlando. There are no assigned books or discussion requirements, just quiet communal reading with optional conversation afterward.

Poppy the Book Truck
Poppy the Book Truck will be on site, giving guests the opportunity to browse and purchase a new read to take home.

Brujas Table
Brujas Table will be on site with their food truck, providing food and refreshments for guests throughout the event.

Alaska Farms
Alaska Farms brings the farm experience to the event with goat cuddles, Duke the mini Highland cow, Eeyore the mini donkey, and outdoor games.

Event Areas

The Book Swap & Review Station
Located outside the Main Hall along the walkway, this area will feature the community book swap and a sticky-note station for guests to leave reviews and favorite quotes inside book covers.

Quiet Reading Zones
Designated low-noise areas on the lawn for guests who want to settle in and enjoy their books.

Discussion Lounge
A dedicated space for guests who want to chat about what they’re reading, meet other book lovers, and socialize.

Alaska Farms Experience & Games
An outdoor area featuring goat cuddles, Duke, Eeyore, and yard games.

Food & Vendor Area
Outdoor vendor space will accommodate Brujas Table, Poppy the Book Truck, and a potential Paperback Coffee pop-up.
