We are pleased to welcome Chapel member Kevin Cummings for his first performance at the Chapel. Gig Harbor’s own singer/songwriter, Kevin performs a soulful mix of original and classic cover tunes including blues, country, fun and inspiring songs. His storytelling and velvet vocals give pause and may even fill your soul. Kevin has played festivals, pubs, native gatherings, charity events and open mics in the area - as well as a tour through Baltimore and DC, and a few quick sets in Austin, TX. Kevin has hosted several songwriter events to raise money and awareness for Guide Dogs of America (www.giuidedogsofamerica.org ), a mission he has supported for decades – including the proud adoption of “GEO” a career change black lab from the organization.

Performing along with Kevin is Thea Wescott. Thea is a singer and songwriter who has shared her music in venues across the country. She writes of life's ups and downs, joys and sorrows with her sweet stories and simple melodies. She has recorded in Nashville and was a regular performer at the famous Bluebird Cafe. A true cowgirl who spent years riding and ranching in Wyoming, her music has an earthy and simple appeal - and she still rides her horse, Redwing, along Washington trails. She makes her home in the Wauna Hills.
