CHRIS ASSAAD :: House Concert + Voice Alchemy Workshop

I am delighted to gather with you soon for a unique music medicine journey with Chris Assaad at River Lodge. For those of you new to Chris, he is a talented, soulful, up-and-coming singer-songwriter, storyteller and voice alchemist from Toronto, passionate about supporting people to unblock and liberate their creative voice. We are blessed to have him visit the Comox Valley! Come join us for this magical, intimate event.

FRIDAY May 26: House Concert 7PM-10PM :: With his raw and authentic style, Chris leads us on a heart-opening, interactive music medicine journey, weaving together song, story and creative visualisation. Come as you are, ready to play, and dive deep with a wonderful group of beautiful souls. Join us for Friday evening's magical house concert. For those who seek a deeper journey into creative liberation, join us also on Saturday for Chris's potent Voice Alchemy Activation workshop. You can attend one or both offerings. (*Discounted Weekend pass available to attend both events.)

SATURDAY May 27: Voice Alchemy Activation Workshop 1PM-4PM :: Free your voice, clear your creative channel and open the gate to unimpeded, authentic self-expression. Explore your relationship to your voice through simple and potent sounding exercises designed to move stuck energy and transmute blocks, connect you to your innate healing power and access a limitless wellspring of inspiration. This workshop will lay the foundation for grounded practice through an in depth investigation into the three pillars of Voice Alchemy.

DIRECTIONS TO RIVER LODGE: River Lodge is a private home. Directions will be shared with you after you have registered.

CARPOOLING IS ENCOURAGED: as parking is limited at River Lodge - plus it's a fun way to connect with similar souls.

WHAT TO BRING:
- Dress in whatever makes you feel happy, cosy, comfy
- Slippers (optional)
- Journal and something to write with
- Cushion + blanket to be comfy and cosy
- Your favourite mug for Chai (we have extra mugs if needed)
- Closed water bottle
- Coloured pencils/ pastels/ art materials (optional)
- No phones. Please leave your phone in the car or at home

PLEASE NOTE:
- This event is alcohol-free
- Yummy Spiced Chai will be served
- Please refrain from wearing any strong scents
- The event will be filmed. By participating in the event, you may be videotaped or recorded
