Evergreen Youth Football Club 6-a-side tournament 2026

A very warm welcome to the 2026/27 season opener of the very best type.... Following the success of the preseason tournament we held at the start of this season and the fantastic feedback received we’re launching our preseason tournament to be held over the weekend of the 29th / 30th August. We will be looking to build on last years numbers where we hosted over 180 teams and 1500 players from across Beds, Herts and Bucks... we could not be more excited to bring a weekend full of football again for Girls and Boys at Evergreen Football Club.
We would like you to join us at our Pre-Season 6-A-SIDE Tournament on Saturday 29th August & Sunday 30th August 2026 at Evergreen Football Club, South Way, Abbots Langley, WD5 OJL. Girls will play on Saturday 29th August , age groups as 2026/27 season from U8's to U16's. Boys will play on Sunday 30th August 2026, age groups as 2026/27 season from U6's to U13's. For both events entry is £50 per team. There is no limit to the number of teams any one club can enter and all team games will be the 6-a-side format so we ask that you bring the appropriate team sizes maximising the fun for all the players.
To deliver the most fun and competitive tournament for all the teams, clubs and supporters U6's to U8's will all receive medal's and we will run the Trophy and Plate as we have done previously for the Girls U8's to U16's and U9's to U13's for the Boys. Only FA affiliated teams will be eligible to enter the tournament and this tournament is not open to teams playing in EJA, JPL or Academy level leagues.
All registrations are through Ticket Tailor. On the day we will be using the Tournify App to manage the tournament experience. All proceeds from the tournament will go back into grassroots football and we will donate to our local charity partners.
Please book up early as we are expecting, and have seen in the past, that the age groups fill up quickly. Final confirmation of full details and tournament rules and team registrations sheets will be emailed to teams in the week before and please submit 1 form per team to the control tent on the day.
If the tournament is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, refunds will be made, less a handling fee of £5 per team. Please pass this information on to all managers and coaches in your football club to ensure that they have an opportunity to register for a superb weekend full of football!
An amazing range of stalls including Sweet N Delish, Papa Ji’s chicken, Pizza, loaded fries, burgers, hotdogs, Sweets, Ice Cream Van's, Local Business Stalls & other games will also be available for the whole family to enjoy.
