CULTIVATE

Sat Aug 16, 2025 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM CDT Everwood Farmstead, 54013

Everwood Farmstead Foundation invites you to join us for CULTIVATE on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 to enjoy an afternoon of music, food and friends to help further and grow the work of the Foundation.

Join us at the Farm as early as 12:00 pm before we gather in the barn at 1:30 pm to enjoy the sounds of ONDARA. We'll have RESERVED SEATS for our CULTIVATE Champions. Afterwards, enjoy a Spotted Cow or a glass of wine and a seasonal lunch prepared with a bounty of fresh ingredients from local farmers by MINDFUL FORK CATERING. CULTIVATE Champions will also receive a custom cocktail kit (or mocktails, if you prefer) prepared by JASON SUSS of A PROPER POUR to enjoy on the property, if you wish.

Each ticket will include a nominal booking "fee" (which pays for the ticket platform) and each transaction will include a "transaction charge" (which pays for the credit card fees). Tickets are transferable, but not refundable.

ONDARA grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, listening to American alt-rock and making up his own songs for as long as he can remember. After moving to Minneapolis in 2013, he began making his way in the local music scene, continually writing songs about what he saw, felt and experienced in a place far different from home. From a stockpile he says is hundreds of songs deep, Ondara chose 11 for Tales of America - nominated for 'Best Americana Album' at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. They’re captivating tunes built around acoustic guitars and adorned with subtle full-band accompaniment for an openhearted folk-rock feel. Touring across the world on his own, Ondara has also opened for Neil Young and The Lumineers.

MINDFUL FORK CATERING is the creation of Chef Angie. She believes the best food is often simple and locally sourced. Angie started her career at a family-owned pizza restaurant in Baldwin, WI. Eventually, her passion for farm-to-fork cuisine and local ingredients led her to become a private chef in 2009 and transition to catering.

JASON SUSS from A Proper Pour, has worked at some of the Twin Cities' finest restaurants including La Belle Vie and St. Dinette. He never shies away from a pun and mixes incredibly creative specialty and craft cocktails. AProperPour.com
