Everwood Farmstead Foundation is proud to present the Artist Workshop "Wooden Spoon Carving" with Tim Dennison on Saturday, July 15th, 2023 from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm!

Come enjoy an introduction to the ancient craft of carving wooden spoons with craftsman Tim Dennison. Participants will begin with an introduction to the hand tools involved in the process (including safety tips!) and an overview of spoon design. Thereafter, participants will spend the majority of the day bringing a roughed out spoon blank to nearly finished form. All supplies will be provided and all levels of experience are welcome (limited to 8 participants). Come learn, enjoy the company of others and make some shavings!

Hailing from Madison WI, Tim brings with him years of experience in both woodworking and instruction. As a former high school teacher, Tim loves to engage learners wherever they are and share his interests. Tim's love for traditional Scandinavian woodworking was sparked while living in Grand Marais, MN in close proximity to the North House Folk School. When not teaching or carving, Tim also enjoys playing music and adventuring with his family. You can learn more about Tim here.

Participants should bring:
* Picnic lunch
* Comfortable clothes and sensible shoes based on the weather

Each ticket will include a nominal booking "fee" (which pays for the ticket platform) and each transaction will include a "transaction charge" (which pays for the credit card fees). Tickets are transferable, but not refundable.
