What to bring and where to come:

This session is run from Cors Ian, a Nature Reserve owned by the Wildlife Trust for South West Wales.

The aim of this session is to offer risky, challenging play opportunities under supervision from Jo and Cath.

We do put up sheltered areas to keep us dry when its wet outside. But please wear warm clothing suitable for the weather and for outdoor play, including:

  • lots of layers (you can always take them off if its warm)
  • Long sleeves and trousers
  • Wellies - for playing in the stream!

We have a full risk assessment of the site and activities to ensure your child's safety during the day.

We often cook snacks on the fire. Please let us know of any dietary requirements via the booking form.

Beth i'w wisgo a sut i gyrraedd y safle:

Cynhelir y sesiwn yng Nghors Ian, gwarchodfa natur sy’n eiddo i’r Ymddiriedolaeth Natur De a Gorllewin Cymru.

Nod y sesiwn hon yw cynnig cyfleoedd heriol, sy’n cynnwys risg mewn chwarae, o dan oruchwyliaeth Jo a Cath.

Rydym yn gosod i fyny canopi awyr-agored fel cysgodfan, i'n cadw'n sych pan fydd yn wlyb. Ond, plîs gwisgwch dillad cynnes ac addas ar gyfer y tywydd ac ar gyfer chwarae yn yr awyr agored, yn cynnwys:

  • llawer o haenau (gallwch eu tynnu i ffwrdd os yw'n gynnes)
  • llewys hir a throwsus
  • wellies - er chwarae yn y nant!

Mae gennym asesiad risg llawn o'r safle a'r gweithgareddau i sicrhau diogelwch eich plentyn yn ystod y dydd.

Rydym yn aml yn coginio byrbrydau ar y tân. Rhowch wybod i ni am unrhyw ofynion dietegol, drwy'r ffurflen archebu.

Directions to Cors Ian

DO NOT USE THE POSTCODE  TO FIND YOUR WAY TO CORS IAN, THIS WILL ONLY TAKE YOU TO LLEDROD VILLAGE- Instead use the directions below or this link to the car park

Directions from Aberystwyth: From Aberystwyth take the A487 South. Just past Llanfarian, turn left onto the A485 through Llanilar to Lledrod. (In Llanilar, take the second exit at the new mini-roundabout in front of the Falcon Inn, to stay on the A485.)                                                                              In Lledrod, turn left at the hairpin bend, signposted to Ystrad Meurig, and follow this road up through the village houses. Go up and round to the left, keep going for about 2 miles then take the narrow left turn at the blue ‘Brynarth Country Cottages’ sign to Trawsgoed/Crosswood, carry on down this road down the hill and look to your right hand side on a bend in the road for the car park to the reserve.

From Carmarthen and the South: follow the A485 to the north, go through Tregaron taking the left at the junction in the middle of the town, then look out for the steep descent into Lledrod and the hairpin left bend. Take the right turn immediately on the hairpin bend, signposted to Ystrad Meurig, and follow this road up through the village houses.

On the B4340 North from Pontrhydfendigaid: ignore any SatNav directions to turn left towards the river ford, this is not passable. Follow the road through Ystrad Meurig and look for the blue 'Brynarth Country Cottages’ sign directing you left. This road goes towards Lledrod but I don't think it is signposted. It you go through Tynygraig, you've gone too far.
