What to bring and where to come!

If you are travelling up from the south, take the A487 from Aber to Mach. After the Osprey project, drive through the village of Derwenlas on the A487 and about ¼ of a mile after leaving Derwenlas, look for a sign on the left-hand side of the road telling you to turn right for Glaspwll.

Follow the Glaspwll road for approximately 2 miles. Just before reaching the hamlet of Glaspwll, there is a fork in the road, and you turn right here by a white signpost for Glaspwll and Llyfnant Valley (there is also a 'no through road' sign attached to the post). Go down a short, steepish hill. At the bottom of the hill is West Wales' Honey and Bee Breeding project. You will see a wooden sign for Bwlch Corog (the name of our site) below the bee breeding sign. Follow these signs from now on...

Turn left beside the West Wales Bee Breeding Project. Go up the track for one mile.

At the fork bear right.

Opposite the cottages turn right.

Go through the gate and up the track to the top of the hill where we will meet you.

If anyone is coming from the north/ Machynlleth, take the A487 south (main Machynlleth to Aberystwyth road). Approximately 1 mile south of Machynlleth, just before you reach the village of Derwenlas, turn left signposted for Glaspwll and then follow the directions above

There is no signal for much of the road between where you turn off from the A487 and reaching our site, so best to download/print any directions or maps you need before leaving home.

What3Words location: litigate.broad.foot.

The aim of these sessions are to provide a space for outdoor practitioners to develop their skills and share what they know.

Please remember to come ready for playing outdoors yourself, waterproof shoes, boots or wellies as well as a warm coat/ layers. It is windy on site!
