Description
COURSE INTRODUCTION:
The course has been designed by a team of experienced Educational Visits Advisers, former Ski Instructors and a Ski Patroller.
Snowsport Visits Training is focused on active risk assessment and group management on snowsport visits and is primarily aimed at staff leading or accompanying visits.
This course does not cover leading, instructing or guiding skiing/snowboarding. Staff looking to lead, instruct or guide should be appropriately qualified and may be interested in Snowsport England's Alpine Ski Course Leader Award (ASCL).
BLENDED APPROACH:
Our Snowsport Visits Training is delivered using a blended approach.
Our programme is made up of two parts.
Part 1 is a 3-hour self-guided e-learning course, which can be undertaken at a time to suit the attendee.
Part 2 is a 2-hour live remote session run by one of our experienced trainers.
Our live online training courses are taught in real-time, allowing you to have a direct dialogue with our experts, a high level of interaction with the other attendees and lots of opportunities to ask questions - just as you would in a real classroom.
All you will need is an internet-connected computer, laptop or tablet with a webcam and microphone.
Before you book, you can check that you meet the Zoom system requirements and run a diagnostic test to ensure the software is compatible with your firewall settings.
