Join chef Pete Evans and Nic for a weekend of cooking delicious paleo/keto inspired food in a group setting. 

We are located an hours drive inland between Byron Bay and Coolangatta in the lush rainforest hinterland, in the presence of majestic Wollumbin (Mount Warning.) 

Evolve sanctuary has 6 newly renovated one bedroom cabins, which contain brand new queen sized, eco friendly beds and your own private bathroom. If you would like to book as a couple to sleep together in the same cabin, simply book 2 individual cabins and we will put you together on arrival (or if you want your space then you have the option of having 2 cabins) - we hold a maximum of 6 guests per retreat.

Each weekend event we host, we invite our guests to join us on a journey of discovery, and experiencing what we like to call 'an introduction to paleo/keto cooking and eating'. 

Our weekend cooking retreats offer our guests to learn the fundamentals of a paleo and keto lifestyle by cooking the most delicious food together in a wonderful rainforest location. We will take you through the art of fermenting, making bone broth, seafood, meat and delcious local organic fruit and veg, including dessert! We also invite our guests to just let go, and enjoy the natural surrounds, including our magnesium pool, spring water creek, ice bath, sauna and hot tub, which are available to use throughout the retreat weekend.

Our food philosophy is very simple, and based off Pete's last ten years of promoting and living a paleo/ketogenic approach, which includes the highest quality meat, seafood, fruit, veg, nuts, seeds and eggs. We will be having nourishing communal meals that are based on the above philosophy, and in turn, helping us to support the local farmers and fisher-people that supply this amazing bounty to us.

The weekend retreats run from 12pm on a Friday for check in onwards, and finish at 12pm on the Sunday (2 nights accommodation)You may book for extra nights accomodation if you wish, directly after the initial booking .

You will receive the exact address upon confirmation with precise directions and you will have to make your own way to the retreat which is an hour drive from Coollangatta airport (south west,) an hour and fifteen minutes drive from Ballina airport (north west,) 2 hours drive from Brisbane airport (south) and approx 25 minutes from the town of Murwillumbah. All food and beverages are included in this price.

We offer this service for adults only (over 18) , however families are welcome by emailing first, Corporates and private groups can also be accommodated via email also.
