Thought Daughter Thursday is getting witchy for Halloween 🖤

Samhain (the Celtic holiday that Halloween has roots in) is traditionally associated with the veil between worlds getting a little thinner, so I’ve been thinking about what else we might be able to access when the veil is thin. Especially on Halloween, when we’re already playing with how we look, who we are, and how we want other people to perceive us.

Sometimes playing pretend doesn’t really feel like pretending! Sometimes you put something on, act a certain way, or let yourself be seen differently and realize you actually really like the person you get to be.

So for Hex Appeal, we’re talking glamour magick, sex magick, fantasy, attraction, erotic energy, and what it means to be perceived. We’ll have a workshop, but we’re also having a Halloween party, so come ready to hang out, meet people, shop with our vendors, get an oracle card reading, and be a little weird with us.

Costumes are very much encouraged, but not required. Sexy, scary, elaborate, barely a costume at all! Come curious, open, and ready to have fun!
