How can the Classroom Acoustic Audit Tool help to improve listening environments?

We are delighted to be joined by David Canning, Director of Hear2Learn, for a bite-size session on classroom acoustics. David was instrumental in the planning and execution of the Essex Study which highlighted the importance of good listening environments to promote access and positive outcomes. With significant experience in the field as a Qualified Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People, Educational Audiologist, Head of Service, consultant and academic, David has been involved in reviewing the BATOD Acoustic Quality Standards. 

David has developed a structured Classroom Acoustic Audit Tool, available in a web-based format, to highlight when action is required to improve the listening environment. We hope you'll be able to join us for our first free event of the new school year!
