Exe-plore the Exe this summer through photography!

The Exe Estuary Management Partnership is launching the 2026 Explore the Exe photo competition to get everyone out Exe-ploring the Exe Estuary and River this summer.

The aim is to celebrate the Exe Estuary, encourage people to explore what it has to offer, and bring together people from diverse backgrounds with a shared passion for this place.

The launch of our competition kick starts with this Exe-citing workshop at the Exmouth festival!

This is open to all ages and levels of experience, and anyone eager to get out and Exe-plore the Exe Estuary and River through photography.

• 11:15am-11:25am: Introduction to the Exe Estuary Management Partnership
• 11:25am-11:35am: Information on the Exe Estuary Management Partnership Photo Competition
• 11:35am-12:20pm: Introduction to Macro Photography and Cyanotype printing 
• 12:20pm-12:45pm: Introduction to Visual Story Telling
