Woody Bay Seapool dip

Beneath the wooded cliffs of the North Devon Coast between Lynmouth and Heddons Mouth there is a secluded bay which reveals a tiny mermaid pool at low tide. Unaffected by the wind or waves, it is a perfect place to be introduced to sea swimming. The location feels wild and remote, and is usually completely deserted (however exclusive use cannot be guaranteed).

Please note: Access across the beach is a little tricky, and not suitable to anyone with mobility difficulties.
