A fun, hands‑on pottery workshop where children create their own clay pencil pot. They’ll learn simple shaping and decorating techniques to design a unique holder for their pens and pencils. A wonderfully messy, confidence‑boosting session that lets imaginations run wild, with a handmade creation to take home.


Suitable for children age 9 - 13 years old.

Please note our supervision guidelines: 8s and Under must have an adult with them at all times during the session. Ages 9–10 need an adult to stay in the library building during the session and to be on hand to support the child if needed. Ages 11+ can take part independently but will be unsupervised by library staff. Thank you for helping us keep our activities safe.
