Create a glowing paper lantern using willow, tissue paper and PVA. Children design their own story by cutting shapes from black card and coloured tissue, then layering them onto the lantern. With a light inside, their pictures come alive — a beautiful creation to take home.

This session is suitable for children age 6+ years old.

Please note our supervision guidelines: 8s and Under must have an adult with them at all times during the session. Ages 9–10 need an adult to stay in the library building during the session and to be on hand to support the child if needed. Ages 11+ can take part independently but will be unsupervised by library staff. Thank you for helping us keep our activities safe.
