Film Night! - "Wuthering Heights" 2026

Join us for Film Night at Acomb Explore Library! Relax with a glass of wine or soft drink and enjoy a cinematic experience right here in Acomb! This is a fundraising event run by the Friends of Acomb Library. 

Warner Bros. Pictures presents a bold reimagining of Emily Brontë’s literary classic Wuthering Heights, directed by Academy Award- and BAFTA-winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell. Margot Robbie stars as Cathy, whose deep and complicated connection with the brooding Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi) forms the heart of one of literature’s most powerful love stories.

Growing up together on the wild Yorkshire moors, Cathy and Heathcliff develop an unbreakable bond that blurs the line between devotion and obsession. As adulthood, social expectations and betrayal threaten to pull them apart, their relationship spirals into a storm of longing, revenge and tragedy that echoes through generations.
