Explore Labs - Digital Making Youth Club

Explore Labs Digi Making Club

Join us at our free monthly Explore Labs Digi Making Club for young people aged 10–15, on the first Saturday of every month from October to December 2026.

Explore, create, tinker and design with digital maker tools, electronics, coding and creative technology. Sessions are led by HYEN, an award-winning York-based company that designs and delivers hands-on learning experiences. These sessions offer the chance to try something new, develop STEAM skills and bring creative ideas to life through practical activities.

No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Come along and challenge your imagination. Let your creativity soar!

Whether you join us for one session or more, you are very welcome.

These monthly workshops will take place on the first Saturday of every month from October to December 2026, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, on the following dates:

Saturday 3rd October
Saturday 7th November
Saturday 5th December

Please note our supervision guidelines:

8s and Under must have an adult with them at all times during the session. Ages 9–10 need an adult to stay in the library building during the session and to be on hand to support the child if needed. Ages 11+ can take part independently but will be unsupervised by library staff. Thank you for helping us keep our activities safe.
