Stories Unleashed: Let's Draw with Liz the Halloween Edition at York Explore

This event is part of Stories Unleashed, a half-term festival at York Explore celebrating creativity, characters and imagination. Through performances, crafts, author events and storytelling, this fun programme brings stories to life and offers fun, interactive experiences for children and families, whether they're avid readers or simply looking to try something new.

Stories Unleashed is supported by Libraries Connected as part of the National Year of Reading.

Get ready for some spooky silliness!

Join author-illustrator Liz Million for a fun-filled draw-along where you'll learn top illustration tricks and create your own Halloween characters. From mischievous monsters to wacky witches, you'll discover how to bring funny creations to life using simple shapes and lots of imagination.

This session is suitable for the whole family and aimed at anyone over the age of 3

Please note: Babes in arms do not require a ticket, but all other children and accompanying adults do require a ticket to be booked to ensure we have sufficient seating for all attendees.

Please note our supervision requirements: 8s and Under must have an adult with them at all times during the session. Ages 9–10 need an adult to stay in the library building during the session and to be on hand to support the child if needed. Ages 11+ can take part in sessions independently but will be unsupervised by library staff. Thank you for helping us keep our activities safe.
