Stories Unleashed: Spooky Comics and Monstrous Characters with Molly Pukes at York Explore

This event is part of Stories Unleashed, a half-term festival at York Explore celebrating creativity, characters and imagination. Through performances, crafts, author events and storytelling, this programme brings stories to life and offers fun, interactive experiences for children and families, whether they're avid readers or simply looking to try something new.

Stories Unleashed is supported by Libraries Connected as part of the National Year of Reading.

Join cartoonist Molly Pukes for a fun and creative Halloween workshop exploring comics, character creations and monstrous fellows!

Bring your own fictional monster, characters and spooktastic stories to life by creating your own comic books and zines. All materials supplied.

This session is aimed at children aged 9+

All children and accompanying adults do require a ticket to be booked to ensure we have sufficient seating for all attendees.

Please note our supervision requirements: 8s and Under must have an adult with them at all times during the session. Ages 9–10 need an adult to stay in the library building during the session and to be on hand to support the child if needed. Ages 11+ can take part in sessions independently but will be unsupervised by library staff. Thank you for helping us keep our activities safe.
