Simon's Online Bird Classes, November 2024 - March 2025

Join Simon Ginnaw for his popular bird classes, providing insights into the wonder of birds. For the 2024-2025 season, Simon is running a Discovering Kent's Birds course.

This 9-week bird course will guide you through the wonders of Kent's birds, their identification, their status and where in the county you can see them. Each session is packed with hints and tips.

This course will consist of 9 evening classes via Zoom, from 7.30pm to approx. 9pm, using photos, illustrations, videos and sounds to bring the fascinating subjects alive. Each evening will be very interactive, with lots of listening to sounds and photo ID. There will be a 10-minute break half-way, and some identification quizzes. The evening will conclude with a summary of our region's bird sightings and other wildlife interest to look out for over the week ahead.
