Face The Records presents

Raven Sessions 003

We're back for another one!

Our first two events were a massive success, and this one is a special occasion - our co-founder Roo is turning 27 so we'd love to celebrate with you.

There's a very exciting lineup of Indie Rock/ Yacht Rock/ Funk Bands throughout the night - come down and boogie all night long!

Where?

Amersham Arms, New Cross

When?

19:00 onwards

Note - If you are coming by invitation of a specific act, please select the ticket matching their name as this ensures funds from your purchase go directly to them. Alternatively you are welcome to purchase a general admission ticket and the funds are distributed between all four acts.

All tickets grant access to the entire night.

Lineup

The Tranquilisers

The Tranquilizers are a (mostly) South London band performing regularly in venues in London and beyond. Their music is rhythmic and woven with melody and engaging textures, with six members making up a driving presence. Put together by Jed Dmochowski, their singer, vocalist and songwriter, their songs span in subject from direct statements of anxiety and joy to other, even far-flung, musical and thematic destinations.
‘All My Friends Are With Me’, ‘Grey Canal’, ‘Take Back Your Freedom’ tell of their interests and concerns. And fun!

Divided Compass

Five piece indie Pop/Rock powerhouse - expect euphoric positive pop, jangly indie elements and a strident radio rock vibe.
Josh and Roo of Divided Compass are also the co-founders of Face The Raven!

Mr Sweet

Mr Sweet is what happens when two musical worlds collide:

 1. The sunshine-drenched microcosm of late 1970s West Coast/LA yacht rock, where Steely Dan's tight studio production melted our heads and Michael McDonald's smooth, electric-piano accompanied baritone melted our hearts...

  2. London, land of the proverbial "English Band", land of The Beatles, Elton John, Supertramp and Queen, land of songwriting genius, melodic earworms and colour-coordinated fashion...

Leto Grand

Leto Grand is a new but mature voice in UK music — witty, funky and impossible to pin down. Based in East London, he fuses house-influenced grooves, spoken word, bold male choruses and brass-heavy swagger into a sound that nods to Ian Dury, Talking Heads, Blur and The Streets while feeling fresh and unapologetically his own.

Leto's debut single Lovely Walk (April 2025) — a cheeky, uplifting banger with New Orleans horns — went viral on Instagram with over a million views, sparking a fast-growing community of listeners. On stage, Leto fronts a tightly rehearsed seven-piece band, leading on vocals, keys and sax, with a brass section that takes the festival experience up a gear. From cinematic jazz flourishes to dirty indie-pop bangers, Leto Grand’s shows are playful, high-energy and built for big crowds.

See you there!
