Description
Navigating the Holiday Season with the Resilience Toolkit
For many people, the holiday season is potentially delightful, and probably stressful. With stressors ranging from money worries, to family trouble, to awkward or difficult conversations, to feeling responsible for others and losing sight of yourself in the process – the holiday season can be tricky to navigate.
This four week offering seeks to help us all navigate this holiday season with a bit more ease and self-connection.
We’ll spend some time exploring:
- Practical tools to lessen stress before, during and after impactful moments and the holiday season as a whole
- Opportunities to roleplay navigating difficult conversations
- Increasing awareness of our own boundaries
- What additional support might be needed during this time
This offering draws on elements of the Resilience Toolkit, Nonviolent Communication, Generative Somatics and Dialogical System Design.
The four group sessions will be 2,5 hours each and each session will be recorded. It will be an intimate group setting so places are limited to 6 people. If there is enough interest a second cohort may emerge.
It is possible to sign up for additional one-on-one coaching to deepen the work and learnings.
I aim to hold a trauma informed and culturally sensitive space. Some things you can expect are:
- The space will be as warm, inviting and welcoming as I can make it 😊
- You always have choice about how you participate (camera on/off, verbal or written contributions, breakout rooms yes or no, whether to participate in a practice or observe)
- You bring with you your own wisdom and know best what works for you and what doesn’t
- There will be moments of self-reflection as well as self- and co-regulation
- Transparency and clarity around my facilitation choices
Dates:
Session 1: Monday, 18th November
Session 2: Monday, 25th November
Session 3: Monday, 2nd December
Session 4: Monday, 9th December
All sessions are at 17:00 – 19:30 UTC | 18:00 – 20:30 CET | 9:00 – 11:30 PST

Cost:
I offer these sessions and any additional one-on-one coaching sessions on a pay-what-you-can basis. It has no price, and it nonetheless has a cost. When signing up you are invited to contribute an amount that feels good to you, and if in doubt I would suggest you pick the lowest amount that feels comfortable. There will be other opportunities to increase your contribution if you so wish. Some people prefer to contribute something at the beginning, others feel more at ease contributing something after the event. It's up to you. To find out more about how I relate to money and this approach, check out this page on my website.
Signing up:
Please sign up to this series using this platform. You will receive an additional form sometime in October which will allow me to better understand who is attending and what you’re coming in with. Due to the limited spaces, I recommend signing up as soon as possible. If you sign up, I expect you to be present at all sessions unless something comes up that prevents you from doing so.
Recording:
The sessions will be recorded in order for you to review materials and practices. The recordings are for those who are registered only. The recordings will be stored for three months.
One-on-one coaching
It is possible to sign up for supplementary one-on-one coaching. A link to do so will be sent to you once you have registered.
