From the moment you arrive, the ordinary fades. Explore an evening shaped for wonder, with guided dances to a live string quartet, candlelit lounges, a quiet retreat space and garden grounds that glow after dusk. Immersive performers will bring the Starfall story to life around you, while you enjoy a cold buffet, themed cocktails and moments captured by roaming photographers and a photobooth. As the night deepens, the celebration shifts into a fantasy DJ set where you can meet other fantasy lovers and build real connections. Your night of wonder awaits.

THE VENUE
From the moment you step through the ivy-clad archways of Stirk House, you’ll be transported into a realm of magic. This 17th-century manor becomes your playground for the night, a living fairytale waiting to unfold. Dance around the grand ballroom as string quartet music swells, or slip into the fireside lounge where crackling embers offer warmth and quiet amidst the revelry. Seek serenity in the lush retreat, draped in greenery and soft light. Outside, parasol-dotted seating invites you to toast under the stars, while the venue’s sprawling grounds and ancient woodland promise hidden corners for whispered secrets and candid memories. This is your story, and Stirk House is your castle.

ACCESSIBILITY
We are committed to making the Starfall Ball as inclusive and welcoming as possible. Stirk House is an accessible venue with step-free access to the main event areas, including the ballroom, lounge, retreat space, and restrooms. Accessible toilet facilities are available on-site, and accessible parking is available near the venue entrance. Will you walk as a regal High Fae, carrying the weight of a noble lineage, or arrive as a creature of old magic? You are summoned not just as a guest, but as a symbol of your court’s power. SPRING
COURT
The Spring Court is a realm of wild beauty enchanted forests, blooming magic, and creatures born from old, untamed earth. Its people are tied to the land, with power that stirs in flowers, vines and shifting earth. Some walk as regal High Fae, others as woodland creatures or spirits born from ancient forests.
AUTUMN
COURT
The Autumn Court burns with ambition, fire magic, and a fierce, unyielding pride. Fae from this court often embody a fierce, proud spirit, and their creatures carry the heat of molten earth. Deep tones and fiery accents capture the essence of this court.
WINTER
COURT
The Winter Court rules where frost clings to mountains and the air is sharp with ancient power. Its people are born of cold, with magic that stirs in snow, ice and high altitude winds. Elegant, fragile only in appearance, and quietly formidable- Winter is a court of quiet strength.
DAY
COURT
The Day Court glows with knowledge, artistry, and the brilliance of sunlit marble cities. Members of the Day Court wield white-light magic capable of healing. Creatures of light, scholars and fae who draw power from warmth and illumination all belong here. Golden touches and warm, glowing palettes suit this court well.
DAWN
COURT
The Dawn Court sits between night and day, holding soft light and new beginnings. Those who belong here are often seers who walk between worlds. The court is known for its love of art and architecture, and its people are as creative as they are powerful. The Dawn Court carries a gentle radiance and an all-seeing magic that feels both calm and ancient.
SUMMER
COURT
The Summer Court is vibrant, ocean-bound, and full of shimmering life. They take their inspiration from their shimmering turquoise sea. Creatures of the deep like sirens, merfolk, or water kelpies dwell within this court. Radiant, joyful, and endlessly alive, Summer calls to those who thrive in brightness and movement.
NIGHT
COURT
The Night Court is a tapestry of stars, shadows, and immense hidden power. Its magic flows in darkness and moonlight. Here you will find celestial fae, shadowborn creatures and wanderers who carry the calm of the night sky. Deep tones, shimmer and ethereal accents reflect its energy without limiting style. Seductive and powerful- The Night court is for those who feel most themselves under the stars.

EVENING FEAST
The in-house catering team at Stirk House will be providing a feast fit for the faerie realm. A cold finger buffet, serving classic sandwiches with assorted fillings, savoury pastries, creamy coleslaw, a selection of fresh salads and fries will be available. Dietary preferences and allergens are fully catered for with advance notice - please fill out your dietary needs form when you purchase your ticket, so we can ensure our feast welcomes everyone.

HOW TO GET HERE
Stirk House is located just outside of Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley.
By Car: Free parking is available on-site. Sat nav postcode: BB7 4LJ.
By Train: The nearest station is Clitheroe, with connections from Manchester Victoria. Taxis are available from the station.
By Taxi: We recommend booking ahead with local firms to avoid delays.
Coach Travel: We are now offering return coach travel from Preston Train Station to Stirk House. This can be used one way, or both ways. The coach will depart from Preston at 5:00PM and will Depart from Stirk House at 1:00AM. please purchase your individual coach tickets with your event ticket.

ACCOMODATION
Stirk House offers limited on-site rooms for those seeking a magical experience. Bookings are direct through the venue, so secure yours early to avoid missing out. Stirk House is offering a special discounted price for overnight stays for attendees of The Starfall Ball. Contact them by phone or email to apply the discount for the Faebles & Fantasies event.
