Celebrate Bluebell Season with Bluebell Chimes!

Join us for a lovely springtime workshop and make your very own Bluebell Chime to celebrate the arrival of these iconic woodland wildflowers!

Learn how to spot the difference between our native Bluebells—a vital food source for bumblebees—and the non-native Spanish variety, which sadly offers no benefit to UK wildlife. Bluebells are one of Britain’s most beloved spring sights, carpeting ancient woodlands with their violet-blue hues from now until early May. In fact, the UK is home to nearly half of the world’s Bluebells, so make sure you get to an ancient woodland near you to see and smell this spectacular sight.

In this workshop you will make your own Bluebell Chime, learn how to tell native and non-native Bluebells apart, and discover the folklore of fairies, Beltane, and why it’s best not to pick a Bluebell… 🌙🧚‍♀️ Tickets are £5 per child, with one accompanying adult required (adult goes free).
