We'll have ministry experts sharing wisdom and answering questions live. We'll be applying the Bible practically to equip us in Children's Ministry with top tips and practical skills. And there'll be plenty of opportunity for those all important conversations with other Children's Ministry leaders to share encouragement and ideas with others who really 'get it'.

If you're not able to join us live, don't worry! You'll still receive all of the excellent resources, handouts and videos used in the training session alongside a condensed recording so that you can catch up on all of the meaty teaching but without the waffle at a time that suits you.

Thursday 24 September 2026, 10am-12pm: From Surviving to Thriving

Leading in Children’s Ministry can feel a little like carrying an elephant - it’s an exciting privilege but it also feels huge and exhausting! In this training session you’ll be equipped with new ideas to help you juggle well, and be encouraged through real-life testimonies of God’s faithfulness and grace in Children’s Ministry leadership.

• We’ll learn from Jesus’ example of calm compassionate leadership that was directive, releasing, and powerful despite the constant demands and limitations on his time.

• We’ll hear from ministry experts who will equip us with practical skills to stop busyness from becoming burnout, and will help us grow in better partnerships with our teams and church leaders to share the burden and work together for the gospel.

• We’ll have opportunities to share ideas and struggles with like-minded children’s leaders who will pray and support you. As well as Q&A time to help unlock where you are stuck.

Tuesday 23 February 2027, 10am-12pm: Connecting with Low-frequency Families

With only 78% of Christians in the UK attending church weekly, catching families into the heart of the church can feel challenging. In this training we’ll unpack some of the hurdles that keep people away and explore creative solutions to better engage families who struggle to belong in our churches and help them feel known, loved, and missed.

With the help of ministry experts and real life stories we will explore three of the key barriers for engagement and give you practical teaching on how to love, welcome, and connect with these families.

We’ll be thinking specifically about:

• Families who only attend occasional evangelistic events or clubs

• Families juggling demanding diaries and conflicting events on Sundays

• Families from different social backgrounds who struggle to feel at home in church

You will leave encouraged from the conversations and upskilled through the teaching, equipping you to make faith sticky with the families you lead so that coming to church every Sunday and being part of the church community is normal and natural.

Wednesday 26 May 2027, 10am-12pm: Ministering to the Hurting Child - with Transforming Lives for Good

We’re excited to be partnering with Transforming Lives for Good to bring you practical expert training on how to help children who are processing trauma, grief, stress, and mental health challenges in their family. Whilst every family experiences the ups and downs of life, we want to help you identify when extra care is needed and how to calmly and confidently walk with families through these seasons. Through biblical teaching and expert advice we’ll equip you to walk with children who are hurting to find hope and healing in Jesus through simple achievable changes.

You can expect:

• Biblically rich teaching that helps us place our hope in Christ alone.

• Practical tools that are simply taught and easily applied within Children’s Ministry contexts by people just like you!
