FRC Scafell Pike

Join us for the next challenge in our hiking series, the Scafell Pike hike.

Having taken on the highest peaks in Yorkshire, it's time to take on the highest peak in England.

Scafell Pike 6 miles (10km) round trip | 4-6 hours | Moderate

This will be a serious physical challenge bringing together the brothers from our community across the UK to push each other.

You'll be supported by the Fajr Run Club team alongside qualified mountain guides.

Challenge details

Meet time: 4:45AM at Mustafa Mount for those praying Fajr Jamaat with us before setting off.

For brothers meeting us at the car park, meet time is 8:00AM.

Start/End location: Lake Head Car Park, Wasdale Head, Cumbria, CA20 1EX

There are no cut-off times on this route, but our mountain guides will be with you throughout.

Important information

• The challenge will be physically demanding and tough, you should train in advance and reach out to us if you have any questions.
• You will have to join the WhatsApp chat after signing up for all updates on the event.
• Brothers only.
• Minimum unsupervised age is 16.

• Hiking boots (preferably with ankle support)
• Rucksack/daypack
• Waterproof jacket 
• Warm layers
• At least 2 litres of water
• Packed lunch
• Snacks
• Any personal medication
