“An Evening of Classic Silent Film Comedies” ~ Laurel and Hardy, Ben Turpin, Monty Banks ~ Scott Lasky at the Piano.

Famous Players Orchestra presents "An Evening of Classic Silent Film Comedies",  a program featuring the silent comedies of Laurel and Hardy, Monty Banks and Ben Turpin hand-cranked by Joe Rinaudo and accompanied by Scott Lasky on piano. This event is a special fundraiser to benefit The Famous Players Orchestra. Program will be introduced by film historian, Stan Taffel. All films screened in 35mm.

Showtime is 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Program includes a 30 minute intermission. Concessions for sale. The venue is Christ Lutheran Church 2400 West Burbank Blvd. Burbank, CA 91506.

All proceeds to benefit Famous Players Orchestra, a 501(c)3 nonprofit music preservation organization, whose mission is dedicated to performing and recording the historic film music originally played by movie theater orchestras during the silent era.
