Unassigned seating except for the first three rows.

VIP Legends Package:
Preferred seating within the first three rows closest to the stage. Seating is not assigned to a specific row or seat and is based on check-in order.

Parking

Complimentary parking is available in the Bowers Museum parking lot, located behind the museum off Main Street.

Please ignore any QR code signs requesting payment—parking is free after the museum’s regular operating hours.

A Live Comedy Performance with Charles Phoenix & Bob Gurr

A Celebration of Disneyland in the 1950s & ’60s

Join Charles Phoenix, Ambassador of Americana, for a lively and nostalgic journey through the early days of Disneyland.

Through his colorful collection of vintage slides, Charles explores the park’s original lands—Main Street USA, Adventureland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland—bringing to life the sights, stories, and spirit of Disneyland’s first decades.

The program also highlights early Tomorrowland, once promoted as “The World of 1986,” the all-new Tomorrowland of 1967, and the futuristic House of the Future.

Charles will celebrate the legendary work of Disney Imagineer Bob Gurr, whose creations include the Autopia cars, Matterhorn Bobsleds, PeopleMover, Main Street vehicles, and the Disneyland Monorail.

At the conclusion of the performance, Bob Gurr will join Charles on stage to share a few personal stories and reflections from his extraordinary career helping shape the Disneyland experience.

Merchandise & Autographs

Following the show, Bob Gurr will be available to autograph merchandise purchased at the event. This is not a meet & greet opportunity, that is reserved only for VIP guest at the pre-show VIP hour. 

Guests may also bring personal items for signing by purchasing a $40 autograph ticket at the merchandise table.

Please note:

• Bob will not personalize autographs

• Only guests purchasing merchandise or autograph tickets may join the autograph line

• Guests may photograph Bob signing their item

• Photos WITH Bob are limited to VIP guests during the pre-show VIP hour

Show Policies

Photography during the show is permitted. However:

• No flash photography

• No full video recording of the show

• Tripods, monopods, and large cameras are not permitted inside the theater

Ticket Policy

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
