The Faolán Irish Fest is organized by Le Centre culturel du Roeulx and La Brasserie St-Feuillien. It celebrates the Irish link in the origin of the town stemming from a local abbey named after a seventh-century Irish monk from Connemara named Faolán. The name is still represented by the local beer called St-Feuillien. So it is an Irish festival in and around a Belgian brewery named after an Irish saint. See you there!
The festival is kindly sponsored by the Embassy of Ireland in Belgium, Tourism Ireland and Culture Ireland.
