Thursday, 18 July 2024, 5.30-7.30pm
Tickets are free but must be booked in advance.
Join us in Farleys Gallery for a discussion between Amy Grantham and Vivienne Roberts, during which they will explore ideas surrounding the connections between music and art and the ways in which sound can be seen and inspire artistic expression. There will also be a short Q&A, and then a chance to enjoy the exhibition and meet the artist and curator at the exhibition launch.
About the Exhibition: This exhibition showcases some of Amy Grantham’s work completed over the last few years, which she refers to as, ‘transcriptions of sound.’ Her beautiful pastel compositions are the visual projections of the shapes and colours she sees while listening to music as she works.
