Join us this June, for an insightful talk by Annabel Moeller with two of the people; Louise Halliday and Dr Shafiq, that she has worked closely with during her long career as a photographer. The evening promises to offer fascinating glimpses into a working life spent behind the camera lens, capturing images of widely diverse subject matter.
This free talk coincides with Annabel Moeller's exhibition in the Lee Miller Gallery, Friends to Frontiers, 02.04.2023 - 02.07.2023.
Annabel Moeller’s work as a photographer spans over three decades, with her career being defined by her sense of adventure, and engagement with an astonishingly diverse cast of characters.
From the creative powerhouses of the Sydney Opera House and the London Coliseum to the war-scarred backdrops of Afghanistan and Iraq. Catwalk models, ballet dancers, opera stars exist alongside soldiers, surgeons and civilians.
Annabel's photography shows her desire to tell the human side of any story with humour and determination.
Louise Halliday was with English National Ballet from 1991 to 2013 – as a dancer for 9 years and in marketing and press, where she was appointed Marketing and Communications Director in 2006. From 2010 she assumed the responsibility of Managing Director 2 days per week.
Louise joined the Royal Albert Hall as Head of Marketing and Digital in 2013, and was promoted to Director of External Affairs in June 2018.
Louise has presented on the main stage at Camp Bestival; Culture Geek; IMD Business School; Oxford Union; and has appeared on Britain’s Next Top Model and Blue Peter.
