Farm2Fork Regenerative Farm Safari & BBQ

Come behind the scenes at Farm2Fork for a family-friendly covered tractor-and-trailer safari around our organic regenerative farm, with the option of a freshly cooked Farm2Fork BBQ.

Climb aboard our covered trailer and travel across Dalditch Farm with Farmer Ollie. You’ll meet some of our livestock, discover what is happening in the fields and hear how we work with nature to care for our animals and soil while producing organic, 100% grass-fed beef and lamb and pasture-raised poultry.

We spend most of the year sending food from our farm to customers around the country. On Sunday 20 September, we’d love to welcome you here and show you where it all begins.

This event is part of the Taste East Devon Festival, a nine-day celebration of East Devon’s outstanding food, drink and producers.

Farm safari

Each covered safari lasts approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Three departures are available at 11:30am, 1:00pm and 2:30pm.

Every safari ticket includes a choice of tea, coffee or elderflower pressé.

Make a day of it with a Safari + BBQ ticket and enjoy organic meat reared here at Dalditch Farm, freshly cooked by Pop Up Dining Room.

The BBQ menu

Our freshly cooked farm BBQ will feature:

• Spatchcocked organic, pasture-raised chicken
• Slow-cooked pulled leg of our 100% grass-fed lamb
• Warm pitta breads served with a selection of seasonal sides made using produce from Trill Farm
• A slice of homemade traybake to finish

Child-friendly alternatives and a vegetarian option will also be available. There is covered seating in one of our barns if the weather calls for it.

Safari + BBQ timings

• 11:30am safari: please arrive by 11:00am; the BBQ is served after your safari.
• 1:00pm safari: please arrive by 11:45am; the BBQ is served before your safari from 12 noon.
• 2:30pm safari: please arrive by 1:15pm; the BBQ is served before your safari from 1:30pm.

Safari-only guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before their departure time.

Children under four

Under-fours attend free, but a free ticket is required for headcount purposes. They do not have a separate trailer seat and must sit on an accompanying adult’s lap throughout the safari. Their ticket must be booked with an adult ticket for the same departure. BBQ food is not included.

Good to know

Tickets are booked for a specific safari departure, so please choose your time carefully. Advance booking is required because places on each safari are limited.

This is a working organic farm, so please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather and uneven ground. The safari takes place on a covered tractor and trailer and is intended to run in most weather. If conditions make the safari unsafe, we will contact ticket holders.
