Listening to the Land with Marian Boswall

Join Marian Boswall – award winning landscape architect, horticulturalist and agroecology coach, author of The Kindest Garden and co founder of the Sustainable Landscape Foundation – for a deeply sensory day of grounding and land healing at Farmacy Farm.

A day for pausing, sensory grounding, and coming together on the land. Marian will lead an exploratory workshop to embody the knowledge and practice of listening to the subtle energies of the land, allowing us to begin to work with all sentient beings to design and live integrated lives above and below the surface.

What if a garden was the kindest thing you could do for yourself, your people and the earth? How can we curate healthy ecosystems, within our gardens, our gut, our minds and our landscapes? How can we promote a beauty that is more than skin deep so that the spaces we share contribute to the long-term healing of the land and our communities?

This is not a lecture. It’s an embodied practice of “listening to the land” to our bodies, and to the quiet guidance available when we slow down enough to notice.

ON THE DAY YOU WILL:

• Learn how Marian designs biodiverse, pollinator rich, regenerative landscapes that actively restore land and people.
•⁠ ⁠Examine the soil food web, highlighting how care and ecological stewardship are as critical to regeneration as scientific knowledge and quantitative metrics.
•⁠ ⁠Experience practical rituals and simple actions you can take home whether you tend a whole farm or a city balcony.
•⁠ Enjoy a biodynamic lunch grown on the farm!

A shuttle bus will be running from East Grinstead train station - please book with your ticket as there are limited parking spaces on the farm. Please contact us if you require a parking space.

Tickets are non-fundable unless we can reallocate your place.

As we're a working farm unfortunately no pets allowed.
