Farming for Nature Ambassador meet up

Please save the date and take a day out of your busy schedule to join us on Saturday 10th June 1-6pm for a FFN networking day for our Ambassador network. This informal gathering will consist of a farm walk on Ambassador Ailbhe Gerrard's wonderful farm in Tipperary. There will also be food and networking - giving you, our Ambassadors, the chance to meet one another and share ideas, stories etc. We will provide updates on the FFN project and give you the opportunity to share ideas and suggestions for the future of FFN. You are welcome to bring a plus 1 to this event should you wish.

Agenda for the day:

• 1pm – 3.15pm: Meet at Ailbhe Gerrard's farm (E45HC44 - Brookfield, Coolbawn, Nenagh, Tipperary). There will be a farm walk and discussion throughout, giving everyone the opportunity to share a bit about themselves/their farm.
  
• 3.15 – 3:30pm: Travel to the barn, a 5-minute drive (E45EA09 - Kings Hill, Ballyscanlan, Tipperary). We will have tea/coffee/light refreshments.
  
• 3:30 – 4pm: Updates from FFN and the opportunity for you, our Ambassadors, to provide feedback/suggestions/ideas and to help shape the FFN initiative going forward.
  
• 4 – 4:45pm: Workshop/talk with Ella McSweeney re identifying as a FFN Ambassador and communicating your story with other farmers, farming/environmental groups, in the media etc.
  
• 4.45 – 5pm: James Moran – agri-policy update – directives, changes in CAP, etc…
  
• 5 – 6pm: Local, seasonal (late) lunch and networking
  
• 6pm: Finish

This is our small way of saying thank you for supporting the Farming for Nature initiative and for the fantastic work you do.

We will subsidise Ambassadors to travel at a flat rate of €50 each. More details to follow via email soon.
