About Farming Forward

Farming Forward (formerly West-Central Forage Association) is a non-profit, producer-directed organization serving the west-central region of Alberta. Since 1978, we have been connecting producers, industry, and researchers to advance agriculture through applied research, innovative practices, and practical knowledge transfer.

Our work focuses on providing unbiased, leading-edge information that supports producers in making decisions for more resilient, profitable, and sustainable operations. Through events, on-farm demonstrations, and collaborative projects, we create opportunities for learning, networking, and moving the industry forward — together.
