First Baptist Church (FBC) in Beverly is a progressive and inclusive church committed to social justice and faith in action. Locally, FBC established and maintained various ministries in Beverly that have not only addressed identified needs of various groups of individuals but that also continue to have a positive impact on the quality of life of thousands of individuals. These satellite ministries that have grown out of our church include Harborlight Homes (formerly Harborlight Community Partners), Beverly Bootstraps Community Services, Harborlight Nursery School, Harborlight House, Turtle Creek, and Turtle Woods. FBC also maintains strong partnerships with Family Promise, Riverhouse/Lifebridge, The Beverly Multifaith Coalition, and Essex County Community Organization.
