Join us for a day and evening dedicated to the stories, characters, and community that makes the Dark Romance genre so appealing! Whether you're a longtime fan of dark romance or just discovering your love for the genre, Worship Me: A Dark Romance Event offers an unforgettable opportunity to meet authors, connect with fellow readers, and celebrate the stories that keep up turning pages long into the night.

Hosted at the 5 Points Music Sanctuary in Roanoke VA, Worship Me: A Dark Romance event will be a unique event combining an intimate dark romance book convention with an elegant evening ball, all inside a one-of-a-kind venue as a repurposed church. 

Book Convention: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Explore a curated dark romance book fair featuring author panels, book signings, reader discussions, and opportunities to purchase books directly from participating authors and vendors. Whether you're looking for your next book obsession or hoping to meet the writers behind the stories you love, our convention will offer a welcoming space to connect with fellow readers and creators.

VIP Access: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

VIP guests will gain access to exclusive programming between the convention and evening ball, including special spicy workshops, swag bags, couples photos, and priority access with our flash tattoo vendor, Nathan Cox. 

Workshops: 

• Beginner Shibari: Single Column Tie Fundamentals
  Curious about Shibari and looking for a safe place to start? This beginner-friendly class focuses on the Single Column Tie, the foundational building block of rope bondage.
  Students will learn rope handling basics, safety considerations, tension management, communication practices, and how to tie a secure and comfortable single column tie. We will discuss common uses for the tie, proper placement, and how to recognize and avoid potential risks. No prior rope experience is required.
  This class emphasizes consent, safety, and skill development in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a solid understanding of the Single Column Tie and the confidence to continue their rope journey.

Dark Romance Ball: 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

As the sun goes down, the venue will transform for the Dark Romance Ball from 8 PM - 11PM. Enjoy an evening of music, dancing, character actors, cocktails, and more immersive surprises designed to celebrate the atmosphere and aesthetic of the dark romance genre. A percentage of all drink sales will be donated to SARA (Sexual Assault Response and Awareness) Roanoke.

FAQ: 

• Evening dress code: cocktail attire. No masks or extreme face paint.
• No outside food, alcohol, pets, or weapons. 
• Due to the theme of this event, the venue will be heavily secured for patron and staff safety. Please act accordingly or you will be removed without refund
• Attendees will receive LED colored wristbands that correlate to attendee's availability upon arrival 

Tickets: General Admission Tickets $200 - VIP Tickets: $250

This is a rain or shine event. Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another guest if you are unable to attend.
