THE EXPERIENCE – Guests are invited to arrive for a welcome drink and canapes within the Walled Gardens. They can wander and wonder at the stunning floral displays and manicured topiary, play on the Croquet Lawn and enjoy live music and some wonderful surprises in the form of walk-about acts. Guests will then be invited to go through the gate into the Orchard where they will discover their Hot Air Balloon set amongst the ancient apple trees where they will be served a gourmet FEAST tasting menu.

THE BALLOONS / THE ORCHARD – As guests enter the Wormsley Orchard, they will be greeted by the breath-taking sight of ten red and white striped Hot Air Balloons floating gently in the breeze, tethered above their wicker baskets. The balloons will be set under a clear marquee roof so guests can enjoy dining outdoors without having to worry about the elements.

The Orchard is filled with wildflowers and grasses grow around the manicured area down the centre, creating a haven for butterflies and wildlife. Views stretch beyond the Orchard to the woodlands and meadows of Wormsley beyond.

THE NINE-COURSE GOURMET TASTING MENU – A canapé course will be served to guests as they discover the four ‘outdoor rooms’ and surprises of the Walled Gardens. The eight remaining courses will be served at the table in their wicker Hot Air Balloon dining basket. Where possible, produce grown by the Wormsley gardening team will be used.

As with all FEAST events, you can expect creative twists to the presentation of each course, including edible clouds! Every year, Wormsley produces Apple Juice from the apple harvest, which will feature in a special part of the FEAST menu.

EVENING & LUNCHTIME SITTINGS – Evening sittings (for parties of 6 people) are available to book every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening between 4^th and 27^th August inclusive. Each sitting runs from 7pm (welcome drink, time to enjoy the gardens and entertainment) with dinner served in the balloon baskets in the Orchard from 7.45 / 8pm. Please note that sittings are adults only.

Lunchtime sittings (for parties of 6 people) are family-friendly and available to book every Saturday & Sunday throughout August from Saturday 6^th to Sunday 28^th August inclusive. Each lunchtime event runs from 12 noon (arrival) with lunch served in the balloon baskets in the Orchard from 12.45pm.

THE WALLED-GARDENS AT WORMSLEY – The wondrous 18^th Century Walled Gardens were originally created in the mid 1700s by Richard Woods, a contemporary of Capability Brown. Guests will enjoy exclusive access to two acres of horticultural heaven, with four contrasting ‘outdoor rooms’ set around an ancient well, connected by brick and flint tree-lined pathways. Between the main areas of the gardens (listed below) guests will discover a host of restored statues, a fairy-tale thatched summer house secreted away and contrasting wild gardens and rose gardens.

BOOKING DETAILS 

Tickets are sold in tables of six (each vintage wicker balloon basked seats six guests comfortably around a table). Adult tickets are priced at £125 per head, inclusive of all food, welcome drink & entertainment. Child tickets (lunch sittings only) are priced at per head £55.

A full bar will also be available so that guests can purchase wine, cocktails and other drinks of their choice to enjoy alongside their meal. Dress code is smart-casual, and each wicker basket will be heated (and the balloons are under a transparent roof for cover) but guests are advised to dress accordingly for an outdoor event. There is ample parking on site and disabled access. Please contact FEAST with any special requests (such as disabled parking, or to arrange a cake for a special celebration).
