Family Ceilidh: May Fèis Weekend
Join us for a Family Ceilidh as we kick off our first ever May Fèis Weekend - part of our 10-Year Anniversary Programme.
Whether you’re a ceilidh regular or a complete beginner, our musicians will guide you through the dances so everyone can join in. There will also be an open floor for anyone who would like to share a tune, song, or performance - so bring along your instrument or voice if you’d like to take part. If you’re keen to perform, feel free to get in touch with us in advance. All ages and experience levels welcome!

🎟 Tickets
Tickets are priced to keep the event as accessible as possible:
- £8 per adult
- £4 per child (under 16)
A limited number of no-cost tickets are also available for anyone who is unable to afford a ticket - we don’t want there to be any barriers to taking part. Please select this option only if needed, so we can keep these spaces for those who need them most.
All proceeds go directly towards our Fèis programme, helping us continue to provide music opportunities for young people in Renfrewshire.
🥁 The Band
We’re delighted to have a brilliant trio of musicians leading the dancing on the night - Ian Smith (accordion), originally from Tiree and a founding member of Trail West, known for their high-energy sound and strong roots in traditional music; Rory Matheson (piano), a sought-after accompanist who performs with a wide range of artists and bands including FARA, bringing a rich, driving style shaped by Highland tradition; and Seoras Lewis (drums), who plays with Beinn Lee and provides a rhythmic lift to the music. It’s an exciting lineup and we’re looking forward to these three teaming up for a fantastic night of music.
