LUMAS WINDS
The effervescent wind quintet Lumas Winds has rapidly acquired a reputation for its lively performance style and enterprise in its choice of repertory. Committed ambassadors for the wind quintet, they relish the textural opportunities of timbre, range and style offered by their line-up; their programme showcases both the versatility of the genre and their own dazzling virtuosity.
Lumas Winds appear regularly at festivals and music clubs up and down the UK, where they are always popular artists. They are the recipients of the Dorothy Parkinson Memorial Award for 2026 and in the current year also secured First Prize at the Lyon International Chamber Music Festival.
